It's amazing how a good movie/book/TV series attracts great fanartists. And there are more and more of them almost every day. Just yesterday I discovered that one of my favourite fanwriters, Macx Larabee has started a fic set in the XFC universe. I think that if the "base" (canon) is good, the best writers/artists/favidders gravitate towards it, having a good starting point (original text/film/etc) and a lot of inspiring fanstuff... :)
