Srs Question Is Srs ("X-Men")

When you hear "Charles Xavier", the first image that flashes through your mind is

   OR  

And when you hear "Erik Lehnsherr" (/Magneto) do you think about this guy

  OR  

In my case, comicverse (so - white-haired but not necessarily shirtless) Magneto is definitely my first association. When I read fics or prompts this version of Erik is the one that comes to my mind and usually stays there (even if "brown eyes" or "sharky teeth" are mentioned XD). As far as Charles is concerned, his comicverse version is also the first, but then my imagination does a backflip, shows movieverse!Xavier and stays inbetween James McAvoy and comicverse!Charles (which is kinda tricky, 'cause these two guys aren't similar at all) :D

when I hear Xavier I have in my mind McAvoy, but its mixed, since I kinda know he`ll become baldie, and on a wheelchair, still, McAvoy created great personality to him I kinda fell for.
Magneto, hm, its mixed in my head, Fassbender is great, no questions asked, but Magneto is so much more than just sharly smiles and square jaws, I have ahrd time to cut him from his comicbooc prototype.

So iin my case its half/half situation. Comicbook Charles and comicbooc Magneto wouldnt move my imagination without their movie and thus actors :)

Early X-men movies are what made me think of Xavier and Magneto so for me Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen come to mindXD
But I think that in a very short time I might get used to McAvoy and Fassbender, cos I'm seriously crushing on them these days, Michael Fassbender specially. *swoons*

Michael Fassbender is an awesome actor, I love him as Erik/Magneto. And McAvoy as Charles Xavier was surprising for me at first, you know - Professor X was always such a serious, dignified person and I couldn't believe that they'd showed him as a flirty and a little bit careless youngster. But it worked pretty well in the movie and I love young!Xavier :)

Hey, wolf - maybe you'll write something X-Men related? :)

It was the sixties of course he was, as you say, a careless youngster, it's needed to grow up into a serious and dignified adult;P

As for writing, my muse is AWOL on any fandom, there have been some fluttering with a new fandom but nothing that made me sit down and write. I'm going away for a small holiday sometime next week and the change of scenery usually prompts something; it might be X-men related;) *finger crossed*

In both cases comic!verse. Even when I read fics for First Class, I have to remind myself that I'm reading movie fanfic and not comicbook fanfic, because at first I keep picturing Magneto and avier from comic books XDDDD
