There should be a service/website/app that tells you if/when the book you want to read is gonna be translated into your language. Like, I’ve seen dozens of interesting books that maybe will/could be published here, but if that ever happens, they’ll be at the bottom of my growing TBR pile and it’s quite possible I’ll forget they existed (and interested me somehow).

And I keep seeing all those cool books/comics recomended by BookTubers/GoodReaders and I keep adding new and new things to my TBR pile, without much hope I’ll be able to get at least a half of them. Which is annoying as hell.

Any advice?

That sounds like a really cool app that should exist, yup.

Because... buying them in the original language isn't an option, right?

Well, I do enjoy reading in my own language more.

There are of course some cases when I know the translation is very unlikely (especially the diverse books don't get too much recognition here); in those cases I try to get the original versions - at least to know the plot.

But there have been many cases when a given book did get published in my language, but I forgot I was even interested in reading it. So there should be something that would keep track on, for example the TBR list on Goodreads, and notify me when something is available in my preferred language.
