...I który wreszcie go znalazł.

                                                              Past

Papa was the best, wisest and he knew lots of stories.

Susumu was wondering sometimes how anyone could remember all those things - he himself kept forgetting how much "five" is. But Papa could count, knew names of all possible things and answered all the questions - and Susumu loved asking them. Everything was bigger than he was, nobody looked like he did, no one (apart from Dad) had a furry tail. Some people stared at Papa and him rudely, some other turned their heads, but there were also people like that white-haired mister who was smiling every time he saw Papa and Susumu.
There were colourful ribbons flowing behind many people - two red ones behind that serious mister with a scarf and one brown ribbon - but very-very wide and long - behind the man with a moustache. So Susumu asked about everything and his Papa explained lots of different things. He didn't like talking only about one person - speaking and laughing strangely, with a scary mask on his face.

In the evenings, when Susumu had to go to bed, the storytime came round: Papa sat by Susumu on the bed and stared a new story. About a hedgehog, who found a ball of pink wool, about a dog who tried to reach the Moon, and about a wolf who tried to find a friend...

...And who finally found him.

Feel free to point out any mistakes :) And thanks for reading my story ^^

Yay~!

No i końcówka... Cudo. *_*

The more, the merrier.

Absolutely perfect!

Guessing game: that white-haired mister who was smiling every time - Ukitake

that serious mister with a scarf - this one's too easy, Byakuya

speaking and laughing strangely, with a scary mask on his face. - Gin

the man with a moustache - Yamamoto? Not realy sure about this one.

And what exactly are the ribbons?

Gokuma's Great Theory of Reiatsu XD

Date: 2009-07-25 09:04 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] gokuma.livejournal.com
The "ribbons" Susumu sees are traces of reiatsu belonging to people close to (usually - loving) given person. Sometimes in "Bleach" we can see that someone gets hurt and another person who's in completely different place knows about it almost instantly. And I've thought up that a good reason for it would be this kind of *connection* between some people in Soul Society. The connection doesn't have to be mutual (although it often is); if the feeling isn't reciprocated, it stays only one-sided (and there is no second, corresponding trace of reiatsu).

So for example between, let's say, Aizen and Hinamori there would be only one-sided trace of reiatsu (Hinamori's - behind Aizen). Between Urahara and Yoruichi - double-sided (the feeling is mutual). Byakuya in the fic has two visible "ribbons" - one is from Renji and the other - from Hikaru.

Many shinigamis (and quincys ;)) see other people's reiatsu - but they can't see the person the ribbon is attached to (they only notice a "sender"). There are very few people who are able to do that (and it's a good thing in a way - otherwise, the social life in Soul Society would be really messed up XD). And it's not something that can be taught - you either have this skill or not. Susumu definitely has it. I guess that his parents will be asked in the future about many, sometimes very-very strange "connections".

It will be fun :D

Oh, you're one brainy wolf! Oh the possibilities. Very interesting.

So even if some of the shinigami see/sense that ribbon and find someone "sending" it they couldn't find out who the "receiver" was? Even if they were side by side. It kinda just starts but fades into thin air. But Susumu is able to see it begin and end, and maybe see it complete if the subjects are next to each other or close by?

Susumu is one powerful little furry thing, anyway.♥

Theoretically, Susumu could follow the trace of reiatsu to see who's the "sender" (but he has to grow up a bit for this - his parents won't allow him to wander around the Soul Society* ^^). If the subjects are close then yes - Susumu sees the whole trace instantly.

"Although it would make an interesting plotbunny" - completely, a seven/eight year old Susumu wondering SS following ribbons and totally oblivious to the mayhem he's created for his parents.

"how Ukitake would look like for Susumu" - Ukitake would look like a maypole to Susumu >__< Ribbons all over.

Oh, and the guessing game:

that white-haired mister who was smiling every time - Ukitake

Exactly :)

that serious mister with a scarf - this one's too easy, Byakuya

That's right!

speaking and laughing strangely, with a scary mask on his face. - Gin

No, it's Mayuri :)

the man with a moustache - Yamamoto? Not realy sure about this one.

Actually, it's his fuku-taichou - Sasakibe Chojirou. But the trace of reiatsu comes from Yamamoto :)

2/4 then

There are also some Bleach characters in Tousen's stories:

hedgehog and a ball of pink wool - Zaraki and Yachiru
dog and the Moon - Renji and Byakuya

And of course "wolf and his friend" - Susumu's parents :)

I forgot Mayuri actually wears a real mask. Oh, Sasakibe Chojirou and Yamamoto, cool, totally understandable and believable.

Oh, the stories, I did wonder about them but though they could be folk-tales or such not being related to actual characters, but now you mention it, it makes total sense.♥ But isn't Komamura a fox? I know there's an on going discussion in the Bleach fandom but I always assume he's a fox.

btw I would've already created the Komasen club in y!G if not for the lack of name! Well I can always create it and change the name laterXD

Date: 2009-08-05 08:32 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] gokuma.livejournal.com
It is said he's a "canine", but it hasn't been specified which one. He looks like a fox, his muzzle/face (I don't want to insult Komamura-taichou v__v) is more fox-like and so is the colour of his fur. But as you know, we (Chuchacz, Bosska, Jeza-Red etc.) love wolves so we like seeing him as wolf.

...After all, I'm a wolf too => http://pics.livejournal.com/chuchacz/pic/0009hx43/g26 :)

By the way: have you ever thought about Komamura's tail? I wonder if he has it, had it or hasn't had it at all. In our storyline we have to choose option one or two, because Susumu has a beautiful furry tail. I'd love Komamura to have one too but I think it could be a hindrance in fight.

What do you think?

You are one fine looking (purple) wolf!XD

Hmm, his tail, Sajin probably has it beneath his uniform, I think it could be used as a means for balance in a fight. Or, most likely, has had it removed because it was a blatant remembrance that he's different and not human-like.

Date: 2009-08-06 09:15 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] gokuma.livejournal.com
I think it would be better for Susumu if his Dad also had a tail. The world is very complicated for him anyway. And as far as I can remember you've mentioned that Komamura has a tail in one of your fics.

whisper mode: Marianek says that Tousen would also vote for Saijin having a tail. But don't listen to her XD

"And as far as I can remember you've mentioned that Komamura has a tail in one of your fics." I probably did, though I don't quite remember it.XD We'll keep him with a tail but it could be a past thing (the getting rid of it) and now he just hides it beneath his uniform. His only comfortable showing it to Kaname (that'll make Marianek happy^^)and little Susumu, to show him he's a beautiful furry thing to love.♥
