It's so sweet I can't even! I got a very strong Spielberg's "E.T." vibe from it and I feel it's meant to a younger public than Bay's movies (I only watched the first one, it was so awful I couldn't bear to watch more) - and it's good; that is, if they are not ready to make us some James Roberts adaptation, a fairy-like and bildungsroman-y story is quite acceptable :)
